WOW..it's September already ...

WOW indeed!! Time has really flown by so fast - so quickly in fact, it's been nearly 3 months since my last post!! *_*
I have to sincerely apologise for the lack of updates on here .. i've found that i've been writing more and more on my Twitter and less on this blog - for some reason i cannot fathom, maybe because it's more convenient and quicker to "Tweet" lol .. So guys, if you have been missing my messages or just my stupid rambling ons, follow me!! ...

As for my work/latest news, i have a "My Schedule" blog ... (many thanks to Carmen for keeping this constantly updated^^)

Right now, im in the process of plugging and promoting my second single - the song is titled '極' (Extreme)!! Radio airplay should start this week, which means hopefully more radio interviews and live shows!! :)
I really love the composition and style of this song and i hope you guys do too - it's something that me and my producer (HUGE shout out to Hanjin!!) carefully decided to put out, as HK is seriously in need of reputable dance/club anthems!!
Pls be on the look out for the song - EXTREME love to you all ;)

Summer Lovin'

So i can say it's been a pretty busy past week for me..!

Was in Seoul, Korea the weekend just gone...i LOVE that place so much!!! ATE and ATE and ATE so much haha...i gotta say, i never get tired of korean bbq :)
Actually there was a purpose behind the whole trip, which was to locate this korean commercial song that i will be doing a cover of...more details of that once i get in the recording studio!! :P
HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP - Going to the PCD concert!! haha...though im sure you guys know cos i tweeted it b4...they were awesome as expected..amazing performers..!!!

Since coming back, i've been doing a lot of radio promotions - ive now been on all major broadcasting channels, and these interviews are actually kinda fun...bit of a laugh and not so serious, and it's always nice to meet the guys you always hear on air..!

We did a group interview yesterday and i finally got to meet the other guys in the project too...all very friendly and a neat bunch to talk to :) ..im glad everyone is working hard to achieve their aspirations and goals in this tough industry - we all must jia yeo!!!

Fun Times!!!

So since the completion of the MV, i've been on a mini-promo tour for the new single...
been on several radio shows - catch me again on the RTHK website :) - as well as a few newspaper/mag interviews.

I'm now a new joining member of the YES! School Tour '09. First show was yesterday, and it went by pretty fast !!!! ..haha.. check out future dates on my "Work Blog", i may be appearing at a school near you ;)

I also had the HUGE honour of being invited to watch a Kelly Clarkson unplugged showcase yesterday. I believe it's her first appearance here in hk, and also she mentioned on stage, her first time doing accoustic/unplugged renditions of her songs - she was sooooo freakin' amazing!!!!! That voice is an absolute gift - awesome talent, and an awesome Idol indeed. I've always liked her song "Because of You" - the meaning behind the lyrics and her personal story that goes with it makes it that extra special....hearing and watching her perform a version of it live, was pretty out of this world - definitely buy her new album All I Ever Wanted guys, it's absolutely worth it!!!!!

同窗密友 MV shoot

I'm glad to annouce the official title of my first release - 同窗密友 !!! (slight change from the name before :p)

So last week i shot the MV for it..woke up at 5am for preparations and on location at 7am to begin the shoot - haven't started that early for a long while!! but the adrenaline and the excitement definitely kept me going for the rest of the day..haha..!

The MV will be a story-type video set at a university - the library looked amazing and colourful on film...all in all i cannot wait for you guys to see it!!!! :)
Many thanks to the crew, director Benny Lau, all the cast, make-up and everyone who helped with the location setting of the MV - i know a lot of effort was put into making this video as best as possible - the whole shoot lasted 16 hours straight, so thank u guys dearly - im filled with so much anticiption right now, looking forward to seeing the end results! :)

I've started radio promotions today and actually went to my first live radio interview @ RTHK2 for Made in Hong Kong - catch me on more radio airtime in the coming week!!! Thx to everyone who waited so patiently outside in the heat for me afterwards too..i know some of you are on summer break already and are waiting for exam results - best of luck! don't worry too much, and do try to enjoy the sunshine outside during the holidays! x

the feeling that summer has arrived....

so i hope you all are enjoying the weather as much as i am!!! :)

im lovin' the fact that during the daytime it's sunny+breezy and then at night things cool down so that there's a slight chill in the air...i know i know, this type of weather will never last long in hk ...but im crossing my fingers, that it will stick for some time! plsss humid heat wave don't come soo soon!!! This is truly the feeling of the beginning of Summer....

So since my last update, i did my very FIRST emcee gig w/ Nespresso - boy was i sooo nervous. The client was extremely supportive and i really have to give them a huge THANK YOU - you guys rock - be sure to see more nespresso-ness in the future from me (you'll know what i mean later :) ) hehe..

the month of march ...

WOW, it seriously has been a while since i've blogged about my whereabouts!!
i've been mostly tweeting (on Twitter!) as they call it these days ..lol
seems like a lot of people out there are catching up on this...it's becoming a bit of an addictive craze!

This month of march has been a mix of building and developing - i've been going into the dance & recording studios a lot more...working with my teachers and producers - every lesson is such an experience and i definitely feel i learn something new everytime i step away from class.

I also have been attending a few events this march.

One was this MAC crossover Hello Kitty makeup launch event - it was interesting indeed as the layout and theme of the entire event was dark & mysterious with a touch of hot pink from hello kitty of course! I felt it was very punk rock glam and the turnout in numbers was pretty awesome with the whole place packed full of people!
One special gift i received was this limited edition kitty - very rare indeed!

I was also fortunate to get an invite to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Adidas this year - happy birthday sole n' stripes!!!!

Im currently busy in and out of the recording studio - im glad to say that the first song has been decided and i am very excited about you guys hearing it soon!!! Many thanks to my amazing producer Ronald 伍樂城 and lyricist 林若寧 - i am so fortunate to have such incredible talents working with me for my first EP :) i won't say much until the song is released out in radio - but the idea for the theme and video should be pretty cool ;) the song name is 同居同學 - be sure to look out for it soon!!!!

Happy Gathering!!!

my laptop has decided to shutdown on me...urgh...it's been difficult accessing the net but luckily i got my hands on a spare computer, so i'll be using this until my own one is fixed!

I really wanna say thx to everyone that attended the mini-gathering on sat ... it was indeed a very speacial day for me (hope for u guys too :P), and i really hope you all had as much fun as i did ... chatting to some of you guys and knowing more about your characters was such a cool experience, one i am so grateful for ... THANKS FOR MAKING IT A DAY TO REMEMBER!
